The Bridging the Divide seed funding program seeks proposals to form a diverse team of faculty drawing from design, arts, humanities, and social science disciplines and from science, engineering and data science disciplines. The team should aim to establish a high functioning integrated collaboration to pursue innovative, ambitious, interdisciplinary research with strong potential to generate significant scholarly and creative activity.
- Eligibility: Interdisciplinary research teams must include at least one faculty member from the arts, humanities, design and social sciences and at least one faculty member from the sciences, engineering or data sciences.

- Learn More: Join the Office of the Vice President for Research and the Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities for lunch and learn about a new interdisciplinary research grant program on Tuesday, January 23 and Friday, February 2. The lunch and learn sessions are for bringing together interested faculty from across campus, providing some examples of such collaborative activities through lightning talks, and to answer any questions about the new program.
