Second Annual Digital Scholarship Symposium (Register Here!)

Mar 26, 2025 - 12:00 AM
to Mar 26, 2025 - 11:59 PM

The second annual Digital Scholarship Symposium will be held March 26, 2025, in The Catalyst, the dedicated digital research and learning space in Parks Library. The event will be cohosted by the Iowa State University Library Digital Scholarship and Initiatives department and the Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities (CEAH).

The Symposium will feature two panel discussions:

  • "Public Digital Arts and Humanities: Community Impact Through Digital Projects"
  • "Digital Pedagogy: Expanding Digital Literacy and Creativity in the Classroom"

Expert faculty, librarians, and graduate students from across Iowa's higher education institutions will discuss creative examples of using digital methods to open research to a wider audience and developing digital literacy skills in the classroom. Faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students, and members of the Ames community who are interested in learning more about digital scholarship and connecting with a growing community of practice are encouraged to attend.

Symposium attendees will have opportunities throughout the day to connect with others interested in digital scholarship and to celebrate the panelists during a catered lunch.

Advance registration is required. Register today. Please bookmark the Symposium Guide and check back often for updates. Registration closes at 5:00pm, Monday, March 24, 2025.
