The Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities requests nominations for the annual Donald R. Benson Memorial Lecture to be held in the spring of 2025.
This lecture fund honors Donald Benson, a former ISU English Professor, who had long-term interest in the relationships among the three intellectual disciplines of literature, science and the arts. It is requested that the public lecture embrace the relationship among the disciplines of literature, science and the arts, not merely highlight one of the three areas.
To submit a nomination for the 2025 Benson Lecture, see the guidelines here. Applications are due by 5:00pm, December 16, 2024.
